If you found out what all actually happened there before u judged it u would know that the gospel was spread and many people gave their lives to God.

Jesus used parables to communicate his message, He said look at the lilies, sheep, goats, wolfs, fish, birds -
Aps... Paul in 1 Corin.. 9:24-27 talks about sports & boxing.
Jesus & Paul used something relevant to that generation to illustrate a spiritual point. Don't get me started on what God made Ezekiel & Hosea do :) to illustrate the rebellion if Israel

First of all, biblical preaching is only as relevant as the speaker makes it to be. Thats why when Jesus, the greatest most relevant communicator ever used parables when he spoke. Instead of just reading out of a book He made the Truth relevant by illustrating it through parables. Second, after each fight(demonstation), the Pastor delivers a biblical and relevant message and offers people a chance to receive Christ. And finally, just ask questions before you judge someones "nonsense" next time.

Friend, if you think the word of God is only as relevant/powerful/applicable as the speaker makes it, then I am afraid you underestimate God's word. Romans 10 clearly states that "faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God". Tell me, after the punch up, what "relevant" message does the Pastor give? Just give me one example please. As an aside, have you heard of Jonathan Edwards?

Cookey, you are perverting my words. I said that preaching the Word is only as relevant as u make it, NOT the Word of God itself. Just because u use creative methods to illustrate the Word of God doesn't make the W of G void. Thats exactly what Jesus did in the form of parables. Should we call Him a heretic because he spoke the Word in parables? Never! And if faith comes through hearing then that implies it can be heard in many ways. Many have already recieved Jesus through this series.
