Interview with Artie Muller, National Executive Director of Rolling Thunder. Filmed Memorial Day Weekend at Rolling Thunder Rally at the Pentagon parking lot. 5/30/2010. Artie talks about veterans problems and how the Rolling Thunder event has addressed some of the veterans problems that the government has overlooked. This years attendance exceeded 500,000 motorcycles and 400,000 spectators over the course of Memorial Day Weekend 2010. This video shows the veterans views as opposed to the views of the mainstream media that ignored the importance of the event. If you happened to have seen the fox 5 news interview with Artie, they only used about 15 seconds of their entire 15 minutes of footage. The producers of the "WE REMEMBER" documentary will continue to post more interviews with the veterans from the Rolling Thunder Rally 2010. View more interviews on you-tube under the tag line , Rolling Thunder 2010. Special thanks to all the members of the Nam Knights MC. -William M. Prior, William J. Prior.

  • I don't get it. Obama had a great rating for supporting vets while he was a Senator. He gets praise from vet groups for his record as president for supporting vet causes, increasing military pay and VA benifits. He's the first President to fly the POW/MIA flag over the White House on Memorial day. The first Lady is beloved by military families for the interest she has taken in their problems. Whats up with this guy doing the interview?

  • @rightisrightful You digress. I'm not really interested in the president, I'm interested in listening to what veterans have to say, that's why I am making this film. Only a few brought his name up at all. I'm taking the time to honor them. So, since you brought it up, let me explain what's up. When we all rode through through D. C on Memorial day past the White House there was no one home to greet us. That was a first, I believe. What's up with that?

  • @wprior1 Did you notice the POW/MIA Flag flying over the White House? First time that happened. They figured out that you guys don't represent the bikers and vets that participate in RT. They decided to give us something we have been fighting for for years. Way more important and significant than a meet and greet promo with a non-veteran group embroiled in scandal and controversy. Delete if you want. There is a vid getting over a 1,000 views per day with Artie and RT. Enjoy you power.

  • @rightisrightful Flying the POW/MIA flag is a proper symbolic act of respect for all veterans. Not going to Arlington Cemetery to lay a wreath of rememberence on a veteran's gravesite on Memorial Day weekend was a mistake. Why did that happen? What political strategy was being used? What part of the electorate would approve of that action? You can have your say, I only delete libelous comments that are personal attacks or disrespectful to the people I interviewed.

  • Still censoring?

  • @33thed Whoever controls the flow of information, has power. Tradiditional media are in decline because they no longer reflect public consensus. The internet generation of all ages who use the new media no longer grant authority to traditional media messages. Welcome to the new alternative mass media. The tide is changing and power is now in the hands of those who post and edit information on the internet.

  • @33thed Long before it became fashionable to support veteran's issues, Artie Muller had the moral courage to stand up and create the Rolling Thunder Memorial Motorcycle Run to focus public attention on POW, MIA and veteran's disabilities. His ability to speak freely about these controversial issues gained him respect, prominence and popularity. This face to face, on camera discussion with Mr. Muller is a true interview intended to continue his efforts without censorship or marginalization.

  • @33thed This is not a mainstream media "interview." It is a forum of videos that allow veterans to speak freely and without media compression or editing. You may agree or disagree, but I will defend the right of any veteran, including Mr. Muller, to speak out on issues they feel need to be addressed. In the past it has been said that personal beliefs and issues can become political issues. Artie Muller continually speaks to bring justice to past and present veteran's issues.
