This is the 8.9" Linux Version of the MSI Wind netbook. It's not available in the USA, but can be bought in Canada (which is where I got this). The U90 shares the same body as the U100. The differences are it has an 8.9" screen, only 512Mb ram, and Novell SUSE Linux. It also has a 120mb HD which is larger than the 80mb in the U100.

    I know - I actually bought the EEE PC 1000H because of this a few months back and the 6 cell is only now available locally by me. i got this unit to experiment on with different OS - I didnt' care about the battery. I can tell you I've owed a few of these netbooks now and the WIND is the coolest running of the bunch by far which impresses me since the all these units specs are indentical with the ATOM chip...

  • I got the U-100 here in Canada -- Pink bag! (which I gave away to a girl asap). It's a nice machine but HORRIBLE FRENCH "bilingual" KEYBOARD - you have to change to US just to type a forward slash.

  • Got to love the horrible canadian bilingual french keyboard. Damn french had to ruin a perfectly good netbook.
