Wow !! ..what a memory!!..The year 1985, 7th grader, time of de great famine, time that my family was struggling, time that the usual "injera" disappeared from the family table, time that "rice" became my "staple" food, and this song...yes! this song ..it means a lot!!.. was very meaningful to my family...especially the following lyrics :"hodehen berebeh bitemah... keleleh man aleh dejeh...kisseh new yekerb wodajeh"".....I cried a lot...but everything is passed!!...Thanks God!!....

The most meanningfull and very well written song of our time. I think this one has to be every Ephrem fan's top list of all times. To me, it shows how talented and gifted Ephrem is. Specially when he sings the smooth melodies like this. I also think it's time for Ephrem to re- release his old classics such as this.
