Did you not capture their construction yard after you captured the barracks and airstrip because you knew they'd destroy your refinery, so they'd rebuild it and recapture it? It seems like besides that fact it would be easier to just capture their construction yard so they couldn't rebuild turrets or other structures.

It is listed in detailed description under "Point of conflict". The second option is mission in Dresden.
