The rules might not have change but the interpretation and application does depending on the needs of the post modern era. Don't be too much legalistic about those rules. St. Alphonsus was not like that. Remember that the great doctor promoted "The Primacy of the Conscience" and not traditional religiosity.
even Jesus Christ was not a conservative teacher, but he was a Radical reformer," Whoa to you hypocrites!!"

There is no such thing as "liberal Catholicism".
You either adhere to the teachings of the Church or you do not.
-
"liberal catholicism is embraced in the Philippines.. "
What in heaven's name are you talking about?
And what is this hateful attitude about the time before Vatican II?!
The rules have not changed.
-

i suggest you to take 3 full meals a day and not to meddle with other seminarians' formation...

why, is anything wrong with it?? what's wrong with the cool music? and why on earth should a pic of st. alphonsus be displayed if the postulants themselves reflects the virtues of the great doctor?? agrr.... "conservative traditionalists," you don't know what you're talking about!
May the Most Holy Redeemer truly have mercy on you! O_o

Bare-chested postulants? Promoting vocations with pop music sung by a barely-legal pornographer? Not one statue or picture of the great doctor St. Alphonsus (who must be rolling over in his tomb) in sight?
Most Holy Redeemer, have mercy on us!
St. Alphonsus would be ashamed of immodest candidates - would've dismissed them at once. Not to mention having contact with women like that. The list goes on...

we're not in the US.. liberal catholicism is embraced in the Philippines.. pedophile cases isn't widespread here so the priestly formation is aloud to have that kind of approach..
you better go back to the '60s, before Vatican II..
