The whole point of portraying this type of dance is merely to display the skill and talent of the trainer as well as the horse. The arab and persian communties are excellent with training their horses and camels. I am sure in a minority of cases the animal may be abused for this type of entertainment; however many of these horseman are very much capable of training dancing horses without any cruelty whatsoever even if it would take a lot longer in doing so. Remember they have an ancient culture.

Guys!This is not Afghanistan's horse dance.This is an art of Punjab Pakistan.See the music instrument and attire of participants which is clearly shows Pakistani culture.
