Edward Cullen is a cunt. Plain and simple. He doesn't respect any of Bella's decisions, when he told her he was *forcing* her to go to prom, she was in tears and very upset, and he still made her go. Any good boyfriend wouldn't have done that. He insults her, he raises his voice to her, he doesn't let her show any affection. He is an overall shithead.

He is the worst because he controls everything Bella does. The Prom thing was ridiculous because if he was a good boyfriend he would've asked her gently what was wrong and how it will make her feel better.

Constantly insulting her, disregarding her opinions and thoughts, telling her who she can and can't see, and bullying, manipulating or forcing her into things she does not want, are all abuse. He rapes her, for God's sake. SHE PASSED OUT because he was hurting her, and HE KEPT FUCKING HER, regardless! She was covered in bruises!

They didn't fall in love. They fell in lust. Because all they know about each other is that the other is hot.

@moonlight9283 *late* You're very sexist aren't you? I would rather be with a man who thinks about other women, than a man that constantly abuses me. And I should know that Edward is abusive, I have been in both verbal/mental abusive, and physically abusive relationships.

"Men are the cheaters" is totally contradicted in the book itself, with Bella whoring after Jacob all the time. And helping them be a better person does not mean taking away their free will. People have to change themselves.

Bella Swan = a taste of a beatdown girlfriend/wife who can't think for herself (she should have told him straight out that he was being a jerkwad.)
