  • it seems 25yrds was the limit for shooting accurate. what do you shoot? it makes a good ankle gun with the ankle holster . I just dont like shooting it more then 20 yards. My group is about 2-5" at 15- 20 yrds...This gun likes more like a 10 yard gun with a group of 1-2". even with a lazier. . its just so small! The gun is great I still think its makes a good boot gun more then anything. example "here Mr. this is where I hide my money" bam hahaha

I really like this little gun. Its definitely a fun plinker and how day when going to the range cost almost an arm and a leg due to the price of ammo it's very economical to shoot the P22 rather than the 45acp. As far as accuracy goes I just learned to shoot the gun where it naturally aims. I never adjusted the sight and standing from seven yards i can get some 1" groups.

I have never given it a defensive purpose but it fits well in the front pocket " here is my wallet" bam

  • I'd hate to be at the business end of 22 millimeter, but I think you mean .22 calibre.

  • The safety doesn't do anything to the firing pin. It rolls up and stops the hammer from hitting it. And the plug for the front sight is if you upgrade to the 5 inch barrel you move the sight up and plug the hole from the 3.5 inch barrel.

  • i have been looking at one of these in a 5 inch barrel at a local gunshop to replace my ruger mk3. i think that i m going to go with the shorte barrel length even to simplify the take down process.

  • @Sparks343

So far I have had 3 of this guns and like all rim fires you get certain issues which are most due to the ammo and not the gun.

I'm thinking of giving the ISSC M22 a change and see how it tacks up to the Walther. Thanks for the comment.

  • I just got one for a heck of a deal with a muzzle break, suppressor "fake" red dot p22 style and 2 clips . I just shot about 250 rds today very fun no jams or miss loads but I had a couple of bullets that was hit but did not fire so I guess those bullets are crud. What I did notice is it is the hardiest gun to shoot. It has so much room for error with the rail sits. I tried have all 3 dots on the rail across in a row but it looks like the front dot needs to be above the rear 2

  • .22 cal ammo is the cheapest crap there is. The reality of the matter is that we don't know what ammo were they using, how long has it been on the shelf and all that crap. I was very wary about the reviews but I bought one. I have had so many more problems of a ruger mark II that I am happy to have purchased this gun. I want another one.

  • @fishfrizbee if your looking for a cheap inexpensive but well made gun still there is a new gun in the market its the issc from austria and it looks like a glock and has a da/sa action. its supposed to be a very good plinker and its for sale at jgsales for only 199.99

  • @icasemyiphone23 the slide blew off and hit my friend in the face get a ruger lcp if u want a good cheap gun get a highpoint better and cheaper than the walther p22

  • @icasemyiphone23 the slide blew off and hit my friend in the face get a ruger lcp

  • @burkdogg12 Have you ever had one? You cannot believe into all the bad-reviews you hear. If you haven't had one yourself, then don't make this accusations. I have bought 3 of these and all 3 have been nothing but good shooters.

They are finicky with what kind of ammo you use and even do that should not be a problem to modern firearms most 22lr bulk ammo is cheap and also shit. You have to spend money on the better 22lr ammo winchester, cci, and other quality brands.
