Hold On Tight ch.7

[When we got backstage, joe had an idea.]

J: how about we do 'A day in the life of the Jonas Brothers #2.' We can take turns filming all day today.
K: ok. sounds good. Nick?
N: yeah. That's a good idea actually
J: I'll go first!

[He pulled his camera out of his jacket pocket. He hit record and started walking around, talking about what everything was. Then he came up to me on the couch where I was having a thumb war with nick.]

J: ok, so this is our BFF Madison as most of you know. Tell us about yourself.
M: uhm I don't know...im visiting four of my best friends in New York this weekend.
[While still in the thumb war, nick looked at me.]
N: oh yeah? Who?
M: [smiles] just this lame band and their brother
N: what?!
M: kidding! Gosh. You know I love you guys. oh, and nick?
N: yeah?
M: I just beat you. Yes! I finally won one!
N: only because you distracted me.
M: and im ok with that

[Kevin walks up with Frankie]
[Kevin let us know they were about to go on so Frankie and I took our front row seats and waited for the show to start. The host came out and sat down at his desk. He introduced the guys and they came running out, shook his hand, and sat down. he asked the usual questions about family, girlfriends, and touring.

When the show was over, we went out the backdoor and got into the car. Kevin got out joes camera and started filming. We headed to the venue early so we could hang out. By now, I wanted to film them practicing. So I walked around stage with the camera and filmed everyone. I walked over to Garbo and filmed him when I almost tripped over a wire. Joe was behind me and kept me from falling. I stopped the camera after a while and gave it back to joe.

I was looking around when I saw a guy carrying tons of wires and a box on top about to fall. I ran over to him and grabbed the box. He smiled and thanked me. he introduced himself as sam, the sound guy. He thanked me again and headed to set up. Nick came running over to me.]

N: what are you doing?
M: I was talking to sam, the sound guy
N: you make friends everywhere you guy, huh? [smiles]
M: I seem to have that tendency.
N: come on, big rob is looking for you
M: [worried] what did I do?
N: [laughs] its not bad

[I walked up to big rob and gave him a hug. He smiled and walked me to the backstage exit.]

BR: tell your sister to come through this door when she comes
M: ok. thanks rob
BR: no problem Madison

[After a while, Ashley showed up from work. Kevin seemed pretty excited. Obviously they've liked each other since the moment they met, but neither has the courage to tell the other. The two of them started talking and walked off together. So now it was me, joe, and nick.]

J: you guys wanna play hide and go seek?
N/M: not it!
J: dang it! Fine [counts to 100]

[Nick and I went running and he pulled me into a closet. It was very small and there were boxes everywhere. It was quiet and very dimly lit. I looked at nick and laughed.]

N: what?
M: can I play with your hair?
N: [rolls his eyes and laughs]

[He sat on the floor in front of me and I was sitting on a box. I started playing with his hair when joe barged in with his camera.]

J: found you!
[We both stood up and walked out. By now, the guys needed to go change so they left to go find Kevin. I was just wandering around when I ran into Garbo. He took a sip of the water bottle he was carrying and smiled at me.]

G: what are you up to?
M: nothing. Just walking around you. You?
G: about to change. I think Ashley and Frankie are looking for you. They're around the corner.
M: ok thanks. [hugs him] see ya later Garbo
G: you too maddycakes
M: [turns around] did joe tell you to call me that?
G: [smiles] no
M: im watching you Greg [laughs]
