Lions vs Vikings 2012: Detroit's Playoff Chances Take Big Blow with 31-17 Week 10 Loss to Minesota

The Detroit Lions fell to 4-6 this past Sunday when they lost a critical divisional road game to the Minnesota Vikings. The Lions again fell behind early, but unlike last year so many times, they weren't able to muster a comeback. Jerry Mallory of Pride of Detroit recaps the frustrating loss and what accounts for Detroit's poor record.

Lions need a new coach, one who can teach them how to play a whole game. Fire him, hire someone good. One or two talented players cannot win the game. Green Bay played second and third string guys last night against your best and played far far better. It's coaching, and a good coach instill discipline, something you don't have. Everyone but you can see that one psychopathic player is in charge there. Trade him before the league bans him and you're out all those millions.

Lions may be sucky and disappointing this year, but Jerry is still the man. And hey, with two upcoming with Green Bay, season not over yet. Win both those and Minny stumbles (likely), not over just yet. Gotta win this week though.

They are still a very undisciplined team. Why don't they just run a no huddle offense, nearly all the time? They don't move the ball for 3 quarters but then they run no huddle and really start scoring. Only problem is, it's too little to late.

That was a garbage game! I have so much sadness now. We all were duped last year. I love my team so I can say this. They Suck. We believed our own hype. I drank all the cool aid in the world. No they are not good. Discipline and bad decision making kills us every game. Its time for a different OC and someone will guts! Hold these guys accountable. Penalty's were near the worst in the league and it never stops. Stop putting the offence out first "NEWSFLASH" We ALWAYS go three and out!
