I bought this monster about three years ago and re-fabbed the motor mount assembly with some real steel and put the old Flat-Belt Lathe back to work for a good two years before selling it off to get something newer.. After selling it I realized that there was not many left from this company and it was extremely RARE.. Still it was nice to save some old American Tooling from the GRAVE.. Enjoy! -Rob
This is just a Tribute to a great old machine I once owned.. I picked this up off Craigslist about 2 years ago and had to redo the Motor mounting area for it to work correctly.. I made a TON of things on this monster then decided to move ahead 40 years+ and bought a 1946 South Bend Lathe to replace it.. -Rob
