There are two types of music the kind you like and the kind you don't like.I like this if you don't like this type of music don't listen.Remember when this music was written it was the pop music of its day and was meant to be enjoyed by ordinary people and not just the well to do and wealthy in fancy concert halls and opera houses. Well done Andre for bringing music and joy to so many people.

@unethicaldenier Andre Rieu and his orchestra on a bad day is ten times better than other conductors and their stiffed shirt, cardboard orchestras on a good day.

Looking up and down this thread, one might get the impression that You are quite alone about this.
It's a matter of taste, no doubt, but You are the minority here.
Rieu has so many fans all over the world. I don't think You should bullshit neither him or us.

@unethicaldenier I heard that he actually doesn't have much money since he spends it all on his performances (and a house I assume), he's broke, well known in my country. But if he quits spending money on his performances, he'll have lots in no-time

I just found out about Andre Rieu a couple months ago. And he is wonderful. You can tell that he enjoys so much what he is doing. His audiences love the experience they have at his shows, and it brings a smile to my face just watching these incredible videos.
