Do not turn with your shoulders! Do not rotate your upper body! Your shoulders and hips should always be in line with the board. If you rotate your upper body you will skid the board instead of carving. Use pressure in the front foot (heel or toe, as appropriate) to initiate a turn and finish on the corresponding back heel or toe ready to then move to the front foot again for the next turn.

Lol he just said not to use your legs and to use your shoulders this is horrible please don't do this snowboarding is 95% lower-body and weight distribution.

@Phobos6789 lol hes explaining the easiest way to learn turning...after you learn this you can do it any way you wish...I dunno how about you but Ive been learning just like this

So I can't figure out how to turn on my toes, I can turn on my heels just fine but every time I go to my toes I fall forward on my knees. Any advice??

coming from an AASI level 2 certified instructor.. doing anything with your shoulders is the last thing you wanna do. lol. anyone that knows how to snowboard knows this. i feel sorry for the people trying to learn from watching.
