@wave6472 The difference between a canoe and a kayak is that in a kayak you sit near the bottom with your feet out in front of you and use a double bladed paddled. In a canoe, while you can sit you are up higher in a more kneeling like position and use a single bladed paddle. I doesn't matter what the craft is called or looks like, its the act of doing an action that it describes. If I use a double paddle in a canoe the craft remains a canoe, but I will be kayaking in the canoe

@wave6472 It goes back to the official UK classifications which I think are the same in most of the world. Thats why in the world championships you have C1 and C2 and K1 and K2 but both done in the same craft.

This guy is kayaking. Kayaking refers to the paddle. double bladed = kayaking. Single bladed paddle = canoeing. Armchair experts. At least the guys out having fun.

It's an inflatable kayak, so it is kayaking. But inflatables are way way easier and more forgiving than a hard shell. that guy is a dweeb/noob.
