  • wow you are good, i have a new vaquero peacemaker and i do cowboy action shooting, i would really like to learn tricks like this but im terrible!!! I try to practice but i dont know what the hell im doing....where would you suggest for me to start at???

  • @southernprideyankee Man id love to have one of those! and its hard to say i mean once you have the basic idea of how to spin it (maybe practice with a toy gun that is lighter) you just kinda add to it. Id start out just getting comfortable with the basics even just doing one spin backwards (stopping in between spins) over and over should help! Id get comfortable with it before you start tossing it around ya dont want to mess up one of those pretty vacueros! Good luck! let me know how it goes!

  • I even removed the chambers from my revolver to get a few spins, it jsut cant be done its so flippin heavy, doesnt help it being a deact and having a metal rod down the barrel either

  • @TheCombines Hahahaha mine is the same way! so heavyyyyy.

  • @morisato54 I totally agree, everything depends on the actual quality of the weapon itself

  • @Foxtrot323

You ought to do some research to avoid giving dangerous advice like that. In reality, people who carried a single action revolvers in the old west would only load 5 of the 6 chambers. The gun will only fire when cocked, yes, but the hammer rests directly against the back of the bullet when uncocked and without any transfer bar safety device even a short drop (like say when your hand slips when spinning) could cause it to fire. Hence why they carried the gun on an empty chamber.

  • @0707905

Depends on the make. If it were a Ruger with transfer bar safety, dropping it 2 floors high won't make it fire even if the hammer is cocked. On a 3-pin Colt or clone (Uberti, Chiappa etc), there is no such drop safety device and even a short fall like waist high could set it off. This is the reason why Colts or clones are carried with only 5 chambers loaded.

  • @morisato54 if it isn't cocked it's extremely impossible to make it accidentally fire, unless of course you just banged the fucking revolver lake 50 times against a wall or concrete

  • Dang...that is stylish. You are impressive with the iron. I thought I was good but I believe I will go practice my spins.

  • you are probably much faster in real because the frame rate of your camera slows things down. Really cool video's man :)

  • John Marston would be proud lol
