Announcement was made at the Reception honoring: Leo Oracion and Erwin Emata, First Filipinos to reach the summit of Mt Everest and the send off for Filipinas Noelle Wenceslao and Carina Dayondon for their attempt to be the first Filipinas and Asians to reach the summit of Mt Everest in 2007.

They officially made Dale the first Filipino to summit everest. I met Erwin, Carina, and Noelle. I'm related to Erwin somehow. I have a picture with him. Did they climb again yet?

The first Filipino on Mt. Everest was Dale Abenojar. He summitted on May 15, 2006. Two (2) days before Leo Oracion and Erwin Emata. Th
