Phillies game - Sights and Sounds

Dan and I drove down to the Phils new ballpark on August 11. It's a beautiful stadium...great views of the field from just about everywhere, delicious food, especially the sausage and beer (those ice cream sandwiches hit the spot, too!)...just a fun place to watch a game. We had a relaxing time and enjoyed each other's company. The ride there and back was nice, too. Lots of good conversation. Let's do it again, Dan! Oh, and sorry for the lack of action shots. It's hard to video the game and watch it at the same time. I decided to spend most of the time just watching and enjoying. But I think you get a little flavor of the experience and atmosphere, at least. Unfortunately, the Phils lost the game 7-5. They put up a gallant fight, though. Better luck next time.

We need to make sure they are playing some push over team like the Mets next time! lol You didn't get the camera shot for that big hit...but you got the roar of the crowd...and the result of the player at second base...that ball looked like it was coming straight at us...
