  • hey , i have a few questions,, what gun would you suggest for a begginer with PAINTBALL,i want a good gun, i havee my hunters lisence and i own some shotguns and some rifles, i also own some pelet and airsoft guns, im just adding that in there to tell you some of my experience,so what would you suggest

  • @pr0ogamerz hi ProGamerz, I replied to your other comment with some suggestions on guns for you. You can also PM us if you wanna discuss things more in-depthly.

  • why not just enforce a rof cap?

  • @13dogman13 They discuss ROF at 2:50ish :) The gun restrictions are in place to try and help keep this a tactical tournament that appeals to tactical players. Many tournaments and series that call themselves "tactical" end up dissolving into speedballers tearing through the forest with Egos and DM's. That's the type of format we want to avoid.

  • @buypaintballdotca k so u can use aelectro in a tactical boddy as long as its capped at 15 but not a regular electro?

im assuming that ur trying to gather a certain crowd?

  • @13dogman13 Yup, you can use TACTICAL Electronic Markers that are capped at 15 BPS. There's a lot of info on the forums and such but I also sent you Friend Request so if you wanna know about a specific gun or setup, shoot us a line that way or thru the site- BTSeries(DOT)com And ya, we want to offer a true Tactical Tournament that is based around true Tactical play, something more than just speedball in the forest. More videos coming shortly...

  • The TM7 is a BT marker that is why that is allowed. Even though you are really shooting a Mini!

  • email btseries@hotmail.ca and we can have a longer conversations about the gun restrictions and then we can post up our findings.

  • @phoreal22 Yes, if you have a team trained up wielding markers in a speedball format then they will have an advantage over the guys with buttstock formats. You are right about the TM7 though.. but it's clearly meant to be mil-sim, so the system evidently has "gray-area" cases.

  • @13dogman13 i agree with 13dogman13, if you would like a more tactical crowd, not only put restriction on the rof but maybe a limited amount of paintball loadout per playing individual, or even per playing team. this will restrict scenario teams that uses or even has some members that play with space guns, from playing.

  • @Yumyumtuna would the way you wield a marker them give one team an advantage compared to another team? on top of that, you have the opportunity to wield a tm-7 the same way you would wield an axe or a mini.

  • I wish that I lived closer to you guys.. seriously, this would be awesome to participate in! Speedballers in the woods really takes mil-sim feeling out of scenario games.. so it'd be cool as hell to have nothing but hardened mil-sim equipment out there. Not that I'll be able to join you guys for this one, but for future refference: would my SP-1 blackheart with double trigger be permitted as-is, or would I be forced to buy a buttstock for it (I hope the double-trigger isn't a problem!)?

  • @phoreal22 Yes, but you can't wield them like an invert mini or empire axe :)
