Distortion interview on Globo Brazilian TV

- The band began in 1997 with me and brother Alberto and Alex
- We decided to play songs that we liked that time.
- The sound is heavy full of efects of a guitar.
- Those characteristics justify the DISTORTION name.

- Our influencies were the english songs.
- We were used with that and
- We took some time to get that we could
- do songs in portuguese , as we are brazilians.

In 2004 the Distortion band played on VR Rock Festival and began the Sepultura show, the most successfull brazilian metal band in and out of Brazil.

- The Sepultura was a great influence to us due to be brazilian e to its success in other countries.
- They were our reference, that was very important to us to play with them at same show.
