If the show got big enough, cute girl taking calls and you could even work in intermissions where a chess puzzle is discussed or something.. Maybe even pulling up old games that similar to the current one.

Most of all, I'd try to make sure exciting games were played with a lot of offensive play and counter-play.

I am curious what your intent was going into this particular show though. Did you actually want to make money off it or just entertain people?

But, on a positive note, you really have inspired me to try to start something like this up one day. I suppose I should try to get a title first so I have some credit behind my name..

I can picture exactly how a show like this would be great for anyone interested in chess though. Blitz chess (maybe 10 minutes per side) with analysis from a third party who can help the noobies.

2D chess board on screen instead of having to use any tangible board for the viewers.

Great idea, just terrible execution..

The players weren't evenly matched, the camerawork was awful, and the model had apparently never seen a chess board in her life.

I hate to be rude about it, but it was just that bad.

I couldn't even watch the whole thing through and I'm a person that can sit down and watch chess videos on youtube for hours straight; I'd hate to imagine what someone who isn't obsessed with chess like myself would think of this.

(continuation of previous comment) If you, ChessNow, have any plans on continuing this show, I strongly suggest you significantly raise your level of sophistication.

I'm assuming the show hasn't been aired in a while due to the master's illness. If that is the case, I wish the best for him and wish you luck in finding a new host.

This show had a lot of potential. Unfortunately, the producers were more amateur than the Chess players. You could hear chatting in the background, there's a microphone covering a part of the display monitor, and they (the producers) hired a model who knows nothing of Chess and stalls the show. I do give the producers kudos for not flat out giving up when this all first started off. The show clearly grew and became much more organized.
