I agree that the vast majority of Pak citizenry has yet to enjoy basic rights and dignity after more than 60 years of country's creation. We are ruled by a tiny, powerful, and indifferent elite whose whose primary concern is protection and expansion of its privileges. The cruelty and corruption of the governing system demands that people rise up in protest or else accept their abject conditions. Maybe the Taliban insurgency is a small social protest movement against widespread injustice?
