  • Will this work on my p67 sabertooth mobo with a 2600k cpu???

  • @jimbo121 That is a socket 1155 motherboard so yes it will work.

  • Hi I need help with wiring. I bought this very fan but wanted to convert it into a desktop fan using a 12 volt adapter. I connected the red wire from the fan to the black and white wire from the adapter and the black wire from the fan to the solid black wire of the adapter.

It didn't work. Does this mean I have to find wiring to suit the other 2 wires? Blue and yellow? Please help me out.. thanks..

  • @keitholiverz I don't know if what you're trying to do is possible. Do a Google search for "4 pin cpu fan pinout" You will find a site with a color coded diagram. The problem you're having is that the blue wire is for control. That is telling the fan to spin and how fast to spin.
