I grew up in Redding and still coming back to visit...every two years. I was surprised Sundial bridge was built there but that is not a good idea...Few reasons...hard to clean off the bridge full of spiders which mostly orbs and cannot remove them. Its so disgusting. And you never know Shasta Dam is more than 50 years old and it has several cracks..someday will break the dam...high earthquake in california...so better be safe than sorry. Waste millions dolllars going down in Sacramento River.
Man the music of this video sounds like it's a prank or a fake or something... It's one of those kinds of tunes someone would use on Candit Camera or something...
Unfortunatley, raised in Redding, Mom was born here, dad has been here since 1954....Sundial bridge is like putting lipstick on a pig. The city pumps money into aesthetics...but does nothing to bring an economy here. Unemployment hovers near 15%...because former flatlanders, "moved up here to get away from all of that industry and noise"....
@dhollywoodtcworksnet You are right about that, Sundial Bridge and the Redding area are very beautiful. And being that you are from nearby Yuba City, I understand that it is what you are comfortable with. It's just I am from a much bigger city, Fresno, and Redding is way different from what I am used to. Slower paced life, completely different social and political views, etc. I guess I shouldn't say it "sucks," but it's not for me. I am moving back to Fresno next year.
@ThelnsomniacGamer Actually,I just got back from visiting Redding and the sundial bridge for the first time...I live in Arkansas but wanted to see what Redding was like. In my opinion,Redding is one of the best and most beautiful cities I have ever been to. I don't think it sucks at all...I like it so much that I plan on moving there someday. I am originally from Yuba City,CA. I thought the sundial bridge was just awesome.
no it is not redding sucks it was the biggest waste of money all they did was try and polish a shit redding sucks it is full of crack heads
