Yes, I was noticing that. This dancer has the most fluid computer animated hip movements I've seen and I have a whole playlist of animated belly dancers. Most people don't realize how important the hand and arm movements are in belly dance.
I'm really impressed with the cloth and I love how fluid you the motion capture of the dance is. The only thing that really bugs me as someone who belly dances myself is that her hands look clunky compared to the smoothness of the hip movements. :)
Oh, sorry for the question in my previous comment. That was stupid of me not to read the info before posting a comment. Anyway, about the costume, I was just curious about how you did it.
Wow! I love the way the costume (the fringes and the skirt) moves with the dancer. I'm also thinking of doing a 3D animation of bellydancing for my final project in school. What program did you use for the motion capture?
Not Bad. The world of computer animation and motion capture is an interest of mine, but it's complications often discourage me.

Looks really good! Only thing that seems a little off is the hands - the fingers don't quite flow with the rest of the arm movements.
