This is a very brief video (with a few pictures at the end) taken at the Nashville Tea Party, April 15th, 2009. It was very civil with only a few protest from Obama supporters. Very weak protests I may add. Will tea parties like this do any good? It can't hurt. It just gives voice to the people who are fed up with massive government. We've got to get the country back to God. I firmly believe turning our backs on Him has led to where we are.

  • I'm sorry. I must have missed the non-white people with no weight problems.

Can I possibly see somebody who represents the rest of America? I mean y'all are loud and everything but I really don't see anything other than fat old white guys or scare little old (white) ladies in this video.

  • I'm sorry too. I forgot there are many Americans who like the government running everything for us.

  • The oral sex jokes on CNN and particularly MSNBC on teabagging they had them by the dozens. White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said the White House was "amused" by the tea parties, but that "nobody out there is making $250,000 a year" as if that were somehow relevant.

President Obama said that he was "completely unaware" of the tea party protests. How can it be that the president could be "unaware" of a grass-roots protest movement of this size and scope? Doesn't he have a TV?

  • Excellent video.

  • If you voted for a bail out, we're going to vote you the hell out!

  • Thanks for posting! I was there and it was incredible!

  • In a country of 300 million people only about 20,000 people (99% of whom are senior citizens with nothing better to do) showed up NATIONWIDE at those tea parties. What a great turnout huh? I bet Obama could manage to get at least that many people just by showing up at Starbucks.
