Thanks for the great advice! I just bought a Mini Jumbo Rustic as they did not have a Folk. I absolutely love the fit and finish. I'm a bluesy strat user who has put off buying an acoustic for lack of knowledge on what to buy cheap. I'll say the neck and action on this guitar are perfect for me right out of the box. Also, keep posting... I love listening to you play.

Very, very nice. How do you like the Seagull Folk? Is that the coastline? I'm thinking of buying one, but a little unsure of the quality. Looks and sounds great, but that may just be your excellent chops.

I like them a lot. this is before the name change so it does not have the Coastline name. it used to be the S6 line. Seagull got a little nutty with the new naming thing there. the cedar tops is very soft (as cedar is). the guitar is not something to leave on a stand unless you live in an adult only home with no pets. When the humidity is low they need to be cased anyway as good guitars do. 1.8 at nut is great too for me, but now they make 11/16's too (but not the folk). Buy without worry

the company itself (management) is kind of too laid back for my American tasted, but the lack of real management does not stop the designers and craftsman and may even kept the price down too. Forget about timely info at their website as it is updated rarely. Places were already selling the MJM's before seagull even mentioned them at the website. Their statement "The 'Seagull Wear' lineup is currently being re-designed - please check back soon!" has been up there almost two years now. :-)
