Good Album Friday - Thrice - Beggars (2009) - 05 - In Exile

Yeah, it's quite perplexing that people would think of that show considering the theme in this song and the theme of that show are the antitheses of each other. One is about the lack of necessity of the things of things of this world, and the other is flat out materialism.

I hate all these comments about i think its such a good ending to my super sweet 16!If you READ the lyrics you understand what hes saying is hes seen just a glimmer ina shadowy mirror,one day we'll see face to face. He means that one day he'll see face to face with God. Not his super sweet 16 bff. "I am in exilea sojourner, a citizen of someother place" He doesnt belong on earth but in heaven(land ive been longing for long as ive lived where ther'l be no pain, tears anymore etc. Hes a christian

I disagree, both albums capture their message and displays thier musical talent. Every album they've made shows they can play a certain style of music and master it. Thrice is just too good of a band to say any album is better than another.
