autism effects your 5 senses to sometimes i know a mother that has two sons and both of them have autism. they have like super senses. once in school one of the kids was chewing gum from across the hall and the autism boy was at the other end of the hall. he asked the kid for some gum when he got to him

so now he never has time to do anything fun because of all the stupid therapy. can't they let him keep his life? apparently not.

Jacob is a 5 yrs old amazing boy with autism. I have a 15 yrs old boyfriend who has Down Syndrome/Autism. I am 17 yrs old with Hemiplegia Cerebral Palsy

A nice video that certainly mirrors similarities with our own son also called Jake. The real differnce I think has been the early intervention and the amount of therapy that you've had available to your little boy. In our case Jake was diagnosed a little after his 3rd birthday bit has only ever had 45 mins of professional therapy available to him per week. Woefully inadequate.

as a mother of a child with autism myself, i like seeing the videos of how these autistic children are either making progress or have recovered. but not many people will just list exactly what interventions they did. it is almost like a teaser for me.

Same thing happened with my twin brothers, the doctor said they were fine and that all boy develop slower. We were also concerned with their speech because the little they spoke vanished almost completely. Thanks to early intervention they are high-functioning :)
Beautiful boy, lucky to have very understanding parents :)

That was an amazing video, and the facts about autism are so true. I was born on March 13, 1990, and was diagnosed with high functioning autism in 1994 of December, the doctors said there would be not any hope for me, but however, with the help of my mom, i am currently 18 and in college majoring in computers. Those doctors were wrong, So I'm not saying this to brag but to give an inspirational story. If i can overcome my autistic challenges with everything, Your son can too! :D
