  • Beretta,

    You are missing out.

  • Really its about 5 m in and 4 out if you hike up to the high overlook (which I think is called Martha's Pretty Point). It's is beautiful and that's coming from a guy who's hiked all around Ouray Co. Well worth the trip.

  • I've not hiked that far! I've been down there!

But, I think I been everywhere in Tennessee!

  • It's a great hike. Starts out a bit dull (like most Mid Tenn hikes, cuz you start on the plateau then hike down). I've hiked Savage Gulch, Walls of Jericho and this is my fave. Best camping is not at the Falls, but a mile away on the Caney River.

  • I have camped at Virgin Falls, pretty amazing place.

  • The hike is eight miles round trip. I recommend starting early in the day or camping. You can call my cell for more info. 615-545-0195. Steve

  • How long is this hike? I'm from White Co. but have never hiked in Scott's Gulf.
