1Password is a password manager (and generator) for Mac OS X. It is a beautifully designed user interface and a joy to use.

There are a lot more features than I have covered here, so plenty for you to explore and use to save yourself valuable time. For example, a feature is the ability to fill in credit card information for purchases straight from the browser with 1-click. Creating two or three identities makes quick work of filling various web forms, whether personal, work, or contest-type entries. Check out the video review.

  • i've been using LastPass, but might give this a try now i'm converted to Mac.

  • @j800r Welcome to the Mac platform. :)

  • @davomrmac you're quite possibly the first person to say that to me. It seems most people HATE Macs, and i've had nothing but negative comments and flaming directed towards me since i got the thing.

  • @j800r Well, that is a shame. Mac users are a friendly bunch. If you ever have any questions, you can always post them on my Q&A Session videos. I always try to answer. Check out my iPhone App too (it is free, just search geekanoids on the App Store). There is a feature in my app to get in touch with me.

  • This is a nice app.... until you need to login on another computer and you have no idea what the huge passwords are. Bit of advice, use this app, but keep your own passwords. :)
