Here is the second part of my FF-Black Mages-videos. And what better way to make up the time it took to actually make this than make it from Dancing Mad, the final battle-theme of Final Fantasy VI.
I had to cut it from here and there, because it was over 12 minutes long (the BM-version alone). It lacks the intro-part and the second phase-part, which I personally don't like.

The one to whom this theme belongs to, Kefka Palazzo, is THE most awesome villain FF has ever seen and will ever see...maybe the same could be said about the whole video game-industry.

Kefka is really badass, sadistic, murderous, backstabbing, twisted, funny, but most importantly: really, totally fucking insane!
If someone didn't know, the "Tubeshark Presents"-part is Kefka's laughter, which is a legend itself.

Oh yeah, and I haven't done any of the fanarts.

But enough of that...enjoy the music. I personally like the original better, but this Black Mages-version is pretty amazing too.

  • @PowerOfTheWarrior All that counts are their actions. That's how I think Kuja is one of the most badass things ever, even though he doesn't have a proper pair of pants.

  • The unrefined process that made him a Magitek Knight damaged his brain. Now Kefka has a borderline obsessive compulsive need to destroy, because that's all he knows, it's the only way he can find meaning. With zero faith in life, he seeks to destroy everything, including himself, because he has nothing to live for. Nothing matters to him and he can't empathize. He might even be secretly jealous that Terra's party found meaning in their lives. And so he seeks to destroy it all! WAAAHOHOHOHOHO!

  • kefka is god hahahah

  • @ZealSeraph then my comment stands :P

  • @chinangel Gestahl's trust was probably based on pure arrogance. He thought he could control Kefka and his magical power since he was the one who "made" him. But it also shows his incompetence as the emperor. Having a loose cannon like Kefka running free isn't the best strategy around.

  • I'm rather surprised anyone trusted Kefka at all. I mean...if I was Queen and my advisor looked like The Joker, I may rethink my strategy.

  • @tubeshark omg where did you get that picture at 1:30?

  • @AngelusDlion He was a very misanthropic person who wanted everyone dead because he despised people and saw them as insignificant waste of space. Destroying everything was his ultimate goal, but he wanted to take his time and enjoy it as long as he could.

  • @ZealSeraph Fair enough. You managed to make your point without fanboying and that I give you credit for. (In other words you made your point.)

But I see it this way. It might attract the kids who weren't around for the 16 bit era. Also to have, just for sake of argument, a DLC version with maybe some extras...? I'd pay for that.

  • @ZealSeraph No, Kefka was a sociopath. A sociopath is someone who doesn't see people as people. And that, IMO, Is what made him scarier.
