Don't you find it surprising how warm the water is there considering it is Canada? I heard that the land surrounding of the Northumberland Straight was the reason why, because it keeps the cold currents out or something along those lines.

yes it is!!...I just moved to Springhill which is a half hour away and we visited Heather Beach a couple times.

Heather Beach is such a nice beach down in Nova Scotia... so warm for a Canadian beach.

Nice!...Cindy and I envy your travels...although we do have some beautiful secluded white sand beaches here in Nova Scotia. If you ever come this way let us know, we'd be happy to play tour guides.
