This guitar is great for jazz. You want a metal guitar, go for SD Blackouts. These pickups are super clean and just beautiful, but turn some gain on and your tone goes to shit.

@gerrygmendez2 playing with the EQ off sounds really shitty through my amp, can't really make metal with the stock pickups in either! but softer stuff gets out just fine, maybe a little too dark. but it plays like a damn goddess !

@Brzrkr667 think of it as a low and high boost with a really precise mid cut. it's much better than scooping the mids on your amp coz it leaves a little bit of high mids and low mids in so your sound isnt shite. kick it in for solos or higher rythm and it owns. i tried this guitar out about an hour ago . there was a 10 min limit on the demo room , but i stayed in for like an hour because i know the tech at the shop. ;)

hey dude, sick playing! did you use the EQ? what does it actually do? i've read something about a mid-cut, or cutting excess noise. could you enlighten me? xD

@Brzrkr667 yea it cuts out the mids. it gives the guitar a completely different sound. i didn't use it in the video as i was playing on the low b most of the time but it sounds great when soloing. hope that helps
