a matraca o trebanelles, es un instrumento de madera donde martillos de madera golpean una estructura de madera en forma de cruz. Se toca durante el Tridu Pascual en señal de luto por la muerte de Jesucristo, el único momento del año en el cual se silencian las campanas.

The matraca or trebanelles, is an instrument of wood where mallets hit a structure of wood in the form of cross. People correspond during the Tridu Pascual as a sign of grief for the death of Jesucrist, the only moment of the year in which the bells are silenced.
