Paula indeed was preggers with one of the three beautiful girls she and Hal Dickinson had. Someone must know who the sub is here. There was no shortage of attractive and highly capable girl singers at the time. I was alive then, dear God, and it was a more wonderful time than can be described.

Great impression of Bill Kenny of The Ink Spots. Big bands cant play exciting like this anymore. Even the best of the best cant get that level of intensity.

You can actually see big band turn into pop music right here!

Nope - not BW

The female vocalist is Dorothy Claire, an original member of the Moderaires, who was later replaced by Paula Kelly. Claire later filled in for Kelly at various times until
Miller disbanded the orchestra in 1942 shortly after fulfilling his part of his movie contract with 20th Century Fox.
This is awesome. Thanks for putting it up.

@pmcarro How did you transfer it? Do you have a telecine machine? Did you just aim a camcorder at your screen?

@dziban303
This one was shot off a screen but I use a better telecine method now. I can shoot right off the film itself through lenses.
