I used 25 feet above runway threshold to reduce google-earth issues. They possibly flew lower, based on crash altitude.

Starts at 858 feet ASL 4.3 km from the threshold of the runway and flown at a constant 858 feet altitude ASL (25 feet above the threshold).

- here the ground speed is 150 knots,
- they probably flew 100 feet lower at 750 ASL (from initial crash altitude),
- reports are that they approached from the left/south,
- the left wing hit first,
- cockpit warning sounds not included,
- and visibility was a few hundred feet.

Only the official report when published in a year will present the actual final moments of the flight.

Poland is small change in world's politics, and it is far more profitable to do business with Putin (or any Russian dictator type figure) than oppose him, so world reaction has not surprised me at all. I need to mention that reaction from countries directly threatened by Russia like Georgia or Turkey -to name few- was more positive. And I should apologize for wording my original entry, but I was going for shock value. Thanx again for your warm words.

@Groteska1000 You have my sincerest condolences. I didn't know that you were being sarcastic! I was ready to give a far more brutal reply, but thought better of it. I lived in Europe for three years, during which time I learned to love the Polish people. I am enraged by this assassination by that Russian filth, Putin. I am equally enraged by the lack of response of the whole world! The "free world" has lost its spine.

@ItsAllaSong No I was being sarcastic actually I am Polish, but Poland being between powers like Russia and Germany will always get F***ed, it is nature of big politics and Kaczynski's death just prove it, He was a dude who tried to stand up to Putyn, that is why He is no more. Lesson for others to learn.
