  • ... I just would like to know where Monte's big bad defense was in the Peach bowl against Virginia Tech!!! They couldn't cut it in the SEC.... The most inconsistent and overrated coaching staff I have ever seen

  • Wow - I'm a Gator fan and I feel sorry for UT fans tonight. Kiffin just set your program back about 2-3 years.

  • Say what you want about Lane, but Monte is a freaking genius defensive coordinator. When he coached the Bucs, his defenses were always good

  • SEC - semi pro football with mostly sub 50 IQ pretend student athletes followed by sub 50 IQ rednecks lol.

  • An alltime use car snake oil salesman is Lane kiffin. How does ths guy keep getting hired?

  • there's no unversity of vancouver u dumbass monte

  • Sounds like a bunch of hot air. These guys could sell ocean front property in Tennessee.

  • @649alex Omg they were only there for 1 season. They improved a lot. Not to mention they held Florida to 23 and Alabama to 12. That sounds like a pretty good defense to me.

  • The sad (or great thing) is that Orgeron and Motre are so gifted that if the Kiffin regime had stayed long enough, I really think Tennessee football could have had a return to the national stage. But Lane is a wandering joke, so too bad

    Roll Tide.

  • We are the Champions ... Roll Tide Roll ...

  • yeah probably was. Oh well.. I'm glad Tennessee got Derek Dooley.. I'm not worried about it... I think they have nowhere to go, except up

  • I agree, I think it was just the lack of focus sometimes from both the coaches and the players (who were a bit young)
