Why don't you people be real environmentalist quit preaching and not practicing.... turn off your computer, just stop using technology, because to be an environmentalist you have to act like one. Everyone is using technology these days, all so they can click a button and put a thumbs down on someone that has a voice. You hate your own country, and you hate the American Dream. Please one more thumbs down for shits and giggles!

I see alot of thumbs down, but I don't see anyone explaining there reasoning. Talk loud everyone will list, ask them a question they all get silent. What a waist of time.

Refining has been slowed down and oil has to be sent over seas to be refined and you environmentalist are complaining about prices of oil, and how much oil gets sent overseas.... you did it. We have the cleanest refineries in the world, but our refineries aren't good enough. All other energy power sources has an environmental down fall, but oil, nuclear power is still the number 1 resource to support our energy demands. We have come along way in drilling, it's alot cleaner then before.

Conservatism is about Empowering your self. Getting what you put into your life. A company making a lot of money isn't a bad thing, it means it is wanted and needed. Oil makes a lot of money because it the only thing that is working. Inflation has risen considerably over the years. Oil has not risen comparatively to the cost of goods. No one is talking about how oil has dropped like a rock sense talk about drilling... that isn't even the actual benefits of drilling.....

There you go, like a liberal, scold me for something by saying I sit on the couch. I've over come alot in my life and one is liberalism. I weigh 131 (this morning) I weighed 187lb 1 year ago. I work out 5 days a week, and have a body fat% of 18.5%, I do not sit on the couch... try turning what I say around and using some knowledge to prove a point instead of scolding me for having a point. Liberals... Assume, use facts to support there beliefs instead of supporting there beliefs with facts.

Halt drilling in Alaska, where the citizen own the land and welcome it. When you give the gov't that much power it's called socialism. "Empower myself"..... Educate yourself. You have been educated by what is on TV, Read some information.... anyone can say anything on TV. Anyone can say something is a fact, but a fact is raw data, it takes a human to make sense of it.

Things are pushed by environmentalist to be put into text books, to find out it never was true. The constitution is made to limit the governments power over it citizens, not to control what businesses sell, or what consumers buy. Examples: fuel, CLF light bulbs, refining of oil, drilling.... Environmentalist can halt farming because of speculation of an endangered species on a land owned not by the gov't but a family.....

Incase you do not know or just don't want to admit it, environmental issues are a fact of life, and to think you can change the world, without using socialism (government controlling everything, and violation of the constitution). Acid rain was put into my 5th grade text book... acid rain has never occurred and never will. Kids are told to learn something... not because it's true but so they can grow up thinking a certain way.

Look, this isn't about liberalism; this is about making the right environmental choices. You can sit on the couch and wait for God to tell you to recycle [lest you be considered a liberal] if that's what feels right to you. But, to a large group of republicans and democrats alike, taking charge of our own impact, by way of exercising our hope and faith, involves more than sitting on our hands and making skeptical comments instead of acting. What is really sad is that libralism has spreaded like a disease. It's just cool to think that you can save the world and change everything in it. And those that believe that God has a plan for you and me and everything in it, we on the other hand are closed minded and hateful... but the truth is it's the other way around. I've been around on this global warming, but if you open your eyes, you can actually see something completely different. Quit demanding change, and have hope and faith.
