I was surprised to see the hateful comments on this video. The area has a rich history which you can't deny, and a solid group of real artist (actors, singers, painters) who call this place home. Yes there will always be those who try to juxtapose themselves next to these people and play the role but that shouldn't diminish the charm of this place. I don't know any other place in L.A. where the struggling and affluent so easily co-mingle and interact. L.A. has many places to appreciate. Enjoy.

The goodwill on Hollywood use to sell clothes for under $5 after 1999 when the hipsters started moving in the price has risen 5 times.
