Part 1 of How to layout your book's text in OpenOffice.org (for self publishing).
In this tutorial we'll be exporting the text layout file we built in parts 1 & 2, then we'll see how to upload your layout pdf to 3 POD self publishers.
I just finished formatting my book for print using this guide, and it was incredibly easy and the results look fantastic. Users should note that italics and bolding, if any, will be lost in the copying to and from a txt file, but I had already marked my italics with a special character notation (for ebook formatting), so it was easy to find them all.
Really wonderful tutorial. Thanks so much for putting this together!
