The waves of talented French producers keep coming. Norman Doray is at the vanguard of the current generation, making his way forward with tracks like Tobita, Chase The Sun and Tweet It as well as remixes for artists as diverse as Dirty South and Toni Braxton. Doray's original mix of Kalifornia, produced specially for the mix compilation Norman Doray presents Strictly Ibiza to Amsterdam, is a big, brash, high powered groove that revolves around a feelgood disco strings loop. David Tort's remix stretches it out, adds some space and tones down the disco flamboyance in favour of a set of cool but very funky electronic beats.
