  • @MarmaladeINFP,

    .

Fundie or fundy (plural fundies) is a pejorative slang term used to refer to

religious fundamentalists. I believe in God. I believe that God trumps everyone, that he is a spiritual being. I believe that many things in the bible are correct, but that many things are incorrect because the bible is written by man. That does not make me a "flag-waving fundie".

    .

Get your head out of your arse. It's almost impossible for libtards to do though.

  • @FreedomInAmerica "But, but he's not a real Christian," says the flag-waving fundie. Your ideological ignorance would be amusing if it weren't so sad.

He's not moderate, reasonable, nor compassionate. He's not really a Christian leader, because "Christians" aren't Marxists or Progressives. He is on the pulpit spewing propaganda.

    .

    Wake up.

  • I like Jim Wallis. Why do moderate, reasonable, compassionate Christian leaders like him not get much media attention? Instead, radical fundamentalists like Beck get enormous attention. The most attention Wallis has received recently is when Beck attacked him for his belief in social justice.

  • Barack Obama left an upwardly mobile job to make far less money as a Community Organizer. He didn't just stand there and tell people fairy tales, he mobilized people who thought they were powerless, to solve problems in their community. They went to their public officials and confronted them about their unsafe living conditions, and the people got things done under Obama's leadership. This was when he was in his early twenties! That is not just pandering or pretty promises, that's action.

  • You said it. Promises are easy to make, but

pandering is his specialty. I don't think he has the "good" judgment he claims to be effective.

  • What ever prople what to hear. line item 1254.
