this is much cheaper than the gym, and there's no staff trying to upsell you into personal training.
besides, a lot of people don't feel comfortable excercising when people are watching.

Also going to a gym you can not strictly follow an excersize routine due to people either taking up a machine or weights benches. The popular gyms are always to packed and you have to wait which strews up your routine and the other not so popular gyms do not have all of what is needed and man they are dirty nasty places.
