Master magician Scott Interrante performs the classic levitation illusion. This footage was shot in a single take during a live show from the late 80's or early 90's. (Once the illusion begins, the camera does not cut away.) This is a small segment from Interrante's bio/promo tape from the same era. Interesting "magic trivia": Scott Interrante gave Criss Angel his first magic lessons. I hope you all enjoy it!

bheast - Scott was a act with Richiardi's show. He was to join Richiardi in Miami (at Fontainebleau Hilton) but cancelled when he got hired by paramount to do the Houdini escapes in the movie Ragtime.

speaking as a man with no dress sense, the floating lady doesn't have a very nice outfit; it even looks a little suspicious as a contrast to the minimally dressed hoop girl. The magician doesn't manage the standing still as a pose of strength in the way Richiardi did

It's funny that you compare him to Richiardi, because Richiardi himself said "He reminds me of myself when I was younger". The contrasting costumes was something Richiardi often did (as seen in his "Chamber" Showtime special hosted by Vincent Price - Ed Sullivan theater) and years earlier. It was 'a style' (or lack of style, depending on your view) back then. This was/is always presented as a tribute to him. There will NEVER be another Richiardi. Personally I think Scott does it EXTREMELY well!
