He's added and changed so much its turned it more picsticato jazz

Ostinato means accompanying with a repeating background melody, harmony or rhythm, which is indeed is very common in boogie-woogie. But that right there was simply a rapid repetition of notes: a tremolo.

I said summtin' sacrilegeous, did I. Using and grooving along with all the right elements added loosely on a string without making them into a stand alone piece is not what makes a boogie woogie. Them ole masters did give us whole, structured pieces, not just loosely added elements as here. But what do we argue, feel free to enjoy what you want, Jacques, YOU do play the real stuff the REAL way it should be played and j'aime your live performances very much. Keep it up.
