The point of the movie is that homophobia is ridiculous. It was the funniest movie I have seen in years and the nastiest movie I have ever seen in my life. Beyond porn even.

I haven't seen it yet, but the comments from LGBTs vary massively - from seeing it as a great attack on homophobia to seeing it as a major reinforcer of unhelpful gay stereotypes. It certainly seems to have upset the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) - [search the GLAAD site for 'Bruno' to see their statement]. What do people think about GLAAD's statement??

Its their job to complain about anything remotley anti gay so I thnk the way they view and interput the moive is skewed.
