Watch out right-wingers, our socialist NWO plan is about to unfold!!! We're dropping chemtrails and putting fluoride in the water to sedate you as our militant homosexual mafia infiltrates your schools and turns your kids gay! We're also working with radical Islamists to force your wife to wear a burka and implement Sharia law!!! It's all part of our 50 year plan headed by der Fuhrer, George Soros!!! BWA HA HA!!!

@1140Cecile I agree.I'm very disappointed in Obama and the dems .But if you think things are bad now give the country to the repubs.Your right we must have a dem president and congress to get anything done.Yes lets try the peaceful way first.

Cool. I'm fine with that. But like I said, some of us won't agree. Justice is a tricky subject, and many people (for religious reasons or whatever else) do not believe in revenge. Full stop. They abhor all acts of violence, even those done in the name of justice. What you might call the "Ghandi" world view. I don't agree completely with this view, but remember that many out there do. So don't be too surprised that Thom is uncertain of his views on the subject.

@mistermassive1 Hey bud Kadhaffi pilferred $200 billion from a third world rathole - i agree we have bankster rats who've stolen trillions, but it's worse if you don't have shiite.

The republicans run on a continues campaign of paranoia.

@icarus313 Gadhaffi is responsible for the deaths of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands. If i was in that angry mob, and one of my family member's was a victim of his regime, i wouldn't regret kicking him in the head. He deserved to die.
I say, re-elect Obama, elect a truly progressive congress, no Republicans and no Blue Dog Democrats, and then let's see what happens. If nothing significant happens by 2014 then the people have no choice but to have an actual revolution. Let's try the peaceful way first.

@megagagnon1
I think what he meant was, he was ambivalent about whether or not he thought Gadhaffi being brutally killed would improve things in Libya. Or perhaps whether or not justice by angry mob is ever a good thing. Y'know...philosophical ethical aspects n' stuff. I was the same way with Saddam Hussein's hanging. He should have rot in jail. Remember: being morally uncomfortable with the murder of a dictator does not make you an apologist for said dictator.
