Why hate the 66's..?? I know they are EVERYwhere you look, but that are a nice looking locomotive.

was never a fan of 58's cos you didn't see many round the north west, except occasionally at warrington. i don't see why anyone would hate them though.

love it how bodmin was on the slow lines and overtook the 58 on the fast lines

I like all types of Diesel Loco's, very happy a class 58 has been saved so it can run on railtours (making sure the driver does not hit the buffer stops) & appear at Diesel Gala's.

How can anyone have anything against 58's - or hate them? They are no longer seen at all - and are more rare than steam these days!
The thing to hate are Class 66's and Unit garbage.
