  • ''revolutionary nature of evolutionary theory'' ?!?

Evolution has been around for thousands of years.

The theory of how it works is 150 years old.

  • Perfectly said.

  • Creation proponents are militant because they believe that evolution contradicts their creation stories, and that somehow destroys the credibility of their deity.

Evolution proponents are annoyed because creationists refuse to understand or even acknowledge the evidence, even when it's put right in front of them, and then lie (or unknowingly repeat lies that were told to them by other creationists) to discredit the evidence.
